And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Question For Today:
How do you not conform to the patterns of the world (secular thinking) when most of your time is spent in secular environments?
As a Christian (follower of Christ), I have found that it is very important that I pay attention to what or who I allow to feed me. Whatever feeds you, leads you.
We are told in Philippians 2:5, "Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus."
My understanding of this is that I am to think about life's situations and/or challenges based on biblical truths that have been given to me. The Bible is my blueprint to living out the life I have been predestined to live. The only way to accomplish this is that I must refer to my "blueprint" daily, along with prayer and a spirit of obedience, trusting that God knows what's best for me.
I would love to read what you think. (Please be respectful of each other's comments). Thanks!
